Thank you to our incredible supporters across the country who are raising money for the Nancy Davis Foundation Center Without Walls program! With your generosity and support in our Race to Erase MS, we will find a cure! Check out past events and photos below:
Cedar Point Country Club in Suffolk, Virginia, was the site for the First Annual Teed Off at MS Golf and Tennis Tournament on September 27, 2012. The CPCC Ladies Golf Association, headed by Cathy Whittington, whose mother had MS, sponsored this event along with their golf pro, T.J. Young, whose wife Kathy has had MS for 5 years. Kathy did a fundraising walk (30 miles) for 2 years in southern Virginia before it was cancelled. She was able to raise more than $10,000 with each walk. The membership of Cedar Point CC along with the Young’s family and friends, came out to support them, and the cause, in full force. In its inaugural year, the event generated more than $24,000, which was donated to The Nancy Davis Foundation in support of the Center Without Walls. The golf course, tennis courts and dining room were awash in orange with all participants donning their best and brightest. Kathy and T.J.‘s daughters, Maggie Mae (11) and Reagan (9) participated as well. The girls baked and frosted 150 bright orange cupcakes. The Ladies Golf Association voted to sponsor the event again in 2013.
Louis Rittberger set out to produce his first fundraising event in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. “Imagine” took place on September 11, 2010 and the Nancy Davis Foundation is honored to have been chosen as the beneficiary! He had his second annual event this past October 1st, 2011, at the State Theater in Playhouse Square. His goal was to raise money to fund research that will lead to the improved treatment and eventual cure of MS, which his mother, Betsy Bloch, 50, has been battling for nearly 25 years. The evening was full of wonderful food, amazing entertainment, and beautiful atmosphere including a silent auction and raffle! The event raised incredible funds for MS research! Thank you to Louis for your incredible dedication and enthusiasm to help us get one step closer to winning our Race to Erase MS!

The evening kick-off with cocktails and a silent auction and everyone enjoyed festivities. Congratulations Nicole! And on behalf of everyone who is affected by this disease, we are so grateful for your energy and spirit and to all of Nicole’s friends and family who helped make her first event such a huge success! Thank you!

Debbie wanted to shout out to her support team a big thanks – Leah Smith, Kelli Morrison and Kim Hanapel – “who are a huge part in helping me with our fundraiser. Couldn’t do it without them!”
