Avril Lavigne Joins Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce award-winning singer/songwriter Avril Lavigne has agreed to serve on the Board of Directors for the Nancy Davis Foundation, effective January 2010. Avril has been a long-time supporter of the Race to Erase MS and performed at this year’s event, in addition to contributing a number of auction items. Avril recently created her own foundation, The Avril Lavigne Foundation, to support children and youth with life-threatening illnesses or disabilities. The Avril Lavigne Foundation partners with leading charitable organizations to design and deliver programs, raise awareness and mobilize support for children and youth who are sick or who have disabilities.
